Enable different languages for back end and front end ?

I was wondering if its possible to enable leave English for the back end and change and set to only 1 language for the front end.

yes, you can, once you have xlation pack loaded to shop, disable that language, it will then be available for back office but not front office.

I thought you could do this by going to:

 

Back office and clicking on your "Name" etc:

I seem to remember that's how I did it before (a millenia ago)

1. if you do not already have language, then back office-->localization ->localization  here you select country you want to import, at a min. you want 'language', if you are not going to offer in front office then states/currency etc. optional.

2. Then back office-->localization ->languages, here you disable the language you only want in back office.

 

This feature is not related to a module.
