CSS Problems IE & Firefox (Not Chrome or Safari etc)

Hi,

 

I hope someone can help, fairly new to Prestashop so please accept my apologies for any errors or not explaining correctly.

 

Using the default Prestashop theme, I have edited the global.css stylesheet amongst others, the only things I have added is PayPal module etc.

 

The website runs fine on Chrome and Safari (iPad and iPhones etc) but when viewed on IE (my version IE11) and Firefox (my version 35.0.1) it does not diaply correctly. Some of the CSS works ok but the majority of the global.css is missing, I have run the website at the same time on Chrome and IE and one works and the other doesnt so the files are all their.

 

Please cna someone help as I have ried many things, such as deleting the cache, I have even tried the (COMBINE, COMPRESS AND CACHE) but this just makes it even worse. I really dont understand whats wrong with IE and Firefox when it works fine on the other 2 and mobile devices, I have even tried this on other PC's running Chrome and IE.
