vi6688 Posted April 17, 2015 Share Posted April 17, 2015 Greetings, I just ran into a problem on my store. Someone ordered 24 of a product when I only had 10 in stock. The cart said the product was in stock, and there was no message saying that the qty ordered exceeded the amount in stock. I don't display qty in stock on the product pages (I don't want anyone to know my inventory levels). I went back to the product page to check on the product and it said the product was still in stock even though the qty in inventory showed as -14 and the order said it was on back-order. I also have the option to show qty in stock when stock is below 3 enabled but It didn't display the qty. I do not want my store to say a product is in stock when it is not. For now I have disabled allow orders when not in stock. I am on version 1.6.0.11. How can this issue be fixed? It has just cost me a sale I would like the option for customers to order products on back-order but at the moment I can't allow that thanks to this error. Thanks.
