Cloning my online site to localhost

Hi, 

 

What I had done:

 

Copy all my files to local folder

Export database from online site

Create new database in localhost

Import

Change PS_Config, domain value to point to new hosting (localhost)

Change file Settiings.inc.php to new database value and username, password

 

So when I entered localhost:8888, it says 

 

Oops, something went wrong.

Try to refresh this page or feel free to contact us if the problem persists.

 

When I access back office with my usual loging, it can log me in but it says" access denied" and I can't see any back office.

 

Any idea why? I am so close to the end and really stuck on this....

R u using wamp or xamp on local server.

I am using MAMP,

 

I am sorry but I don't follow what do you mean by that?

Yes I can access the mamp preference page

Can you turn on debug mode and try to load the page again? Maybe you get some info about error.
