display unit with price i.e $5.00 per KG or $6.00 per Unit

I have not found any exact relevant post to the topic. please help me to add the unit with price as i am going to add many type of food products which will be available in KGs, Litters, Units, Heads, Packs and Dozens etc.

When we click on product details, in quick view box i can see the units but i want to show them right on main page where the big font is show only the price. see attachment to understand my question more.

You need to create Features for that.

Backend:

Create feature called "weightType" and then put values in it like KGs, Ltrs, Dozens etc.

Then while managing Product, select Features tab then select appropriate feature value for respective product.

Frontend:

Themes directory-> go to your current theme directory.

Open product-list.tpl in some editor.

find this section and write down the following code at the end of the div section.

many thanks i have created the feature "WeightType" and also put in prodoucts its value "KG". Now i want it to show in front end as i needed and attached image as well.

i have put your code at the end but nothing happen yet. checked even clearing cache but still same. instead again product display gone disturbed. dont know whey it happening. can you refer me any website which have done that before. i want to see the result live because still i am not able to see any article on that which particularly discuss it.

oh, good. the code you given now worked. many thanks. just wow....oops but the item with witch i set the feature, when i press QUICK VIEW button on that particluar product, its format gone disturbed. any suggestion?

You can have a look on eshop.albaikfoods.com. i have set the feature with AYAM KAMPUNG (free range chicken) item. press quick view and look what happened?

hi, i got a problem with my left column block PADDING or ALIGNMENT. i want list of categories LEFT ALIGNED but something gone wrong with it and its showing like attached. please help to align left.

Under wholesale category listings, Meat, Dairy are sub categories.

It is going to display like these so user can identify that category have sub categories.

you are right, but i have did something wrong with code. see attached default alignment. mine setting are not same.

display unit with price i.e $5.00 per KG or $6.00 per Unit
