Can't Save Edits or Changes - PrestaShop 1.6.0.14

When attempting to edit anything, categories, CMS, etc., when I click on Save, it redirects to the home page of my shop, outside of the admin area.  Prior products, etc. show fine, I just can't make any changes.  Please help and thank you.

No suggestions?  As you can imagine, this is a very frustrating situation, since I can't update anything on my client's shop.  Is there a database issue, or do I need to reinstall PrestaShop?  If I reinstall, is there a way that I can save all of the products, or do I need to start over.  Starting over isn't really an option, due to the number of products and images.  Thank you.

Can you ask your web host help to keep a copy of the database?  If you have to reinstall Prestashop again, try to copy all the description of your products on to doc. Then copy and paste back. At least less typing.

from you hosting account, find your error log.  Then recreate the problem in back office.  My bet is there is an error that creates this issue, mod_security issue for example.

 

You may need to enable ps debug mode (google if you do not know how), note: some critical errors are not always presented in front office and may only show in error log.  Contact your hosting company if you can not find the error log.

I have a dedicated server. ModSecurity and a custom theme created in version 1.5 was causing problems. We're now using the default theme and made adjustments to ModSecurity. Now we can add new products.

 

However, we're still having problems with CMS pages. We can add a new page in the admin, but it doesn't show live (and yes I did flip the switch to display the page).
