Jadzia DeForest
I have my main domain with Prestashop installed (deverallc.com/shop) and I have enabled Multistore, created a new shop group, new store, and assigned the domain themermaidtarot.com. Do I need to install Prestashop on the second domain or not? Right now I have Prestashop on the second domain but it only shows me the default theme, etc. How do I get the second domain to share all of the settings from the first domain? Thank you. trevorgilligan
u dont need anything on the 2nd domain. you need to point or park or alias this domain: themermaidtarot.com to point to or parked on this domain : deverallc.com . then it should work. it is not settings in prestahop it is settings with host.

trevorgilligan
great glad to help, my first time helping someone on ps i just wonder if i can ask el patron a question. if i set the domain name up as web forwarding / domain name forwarding , the website seems to be in a frame, however the site seems to be working ok... does it have to be alias or parked domain or does it work if forward or redirect a URL to the 2nd multistore? thank you trev
El Patron
great glad to help, my first time helping someone on ps i just wonder if i can ask el patron a question. if i set the domain name up as web forwarding / domain name forwarding , the website seems to be in a frame, however the site seems to be working ok... does it have to be alias or parked domain or does it work if forward or redirect a URL to the 2nd multistore? thank you trev Hi, I'm not familiar with that set up. If it is a URL 'grabber' then it may seem to work but grabbers break payment modules. I'd stick with following your earlier advice of alias/park. Happy PrestaShopping and thanks for contributing to the community.
