too long loading time

Hi everybody,

 

I got a prestashop version 1.6 and at first I had the standard template, made by prestashop.

Some days ago, I installed the theme called "ikon" and customized that with the custom.css.

But the loading time is really hard, could some please help me to improve that, and optimize the loading time?

I've read some topic's before, but I could not really find something about that, what could help.

I also optimized the size of my pictures, but it did not help a lot.

it looks like your hosting server issue because if you ping your site sometimes it will be pinged and sometimes its not. Better ask your hosting provider to enhance or eliminate error for you. Remember prestashop needs 128mb of your server's ram at least to work. Please correct me if I am wrong.

but I think that that's not the problem, because the memory limit is 128mb at my server.

And the problem ist that it was much faster at the standard template made by prestashop, I think there's something wrong with the theme/ my custom.css or even a forwarding?
