Top Menù not displaying CMS pages in selector

In the module "Top Orizontal Menù"  if I click "edit" there are no CMS categories and no pages of course  (see img attached) is displayed in the box for selection. (so it's impossible to select any CMS content) 

 

It's a new installation, prestashop 1.6.0.13, only changed language and few settings.
theme is default one.

 

I already tried: 
to change to previuos language 

to reset and to re-install the module

to create new contents and new categories on CMS

to disable and re enable all contents (pages) 

to check for visibility setting

(debug mode is enabled, but no message is showing ) 

 

Any idea?  thank you 

 

this is the II problem (1° was  White page in hook configuration page)  without touch anything from the installation, it's normal to have these kind of problems with prestashop ?

Update:

 

I tried to made a new installation of Prestashop (with Plesk 12)  But there is the same problem from the beginning.

It's strange that all the new installations have this problem... 

 

anyone have the same problem?  how do you solved it?
