Categories discount doesn`t work

Hi everyone.

 

I have a problem with categories discounts.

I`m trying to low all categories for 10% and i`m using simple method:

Customers -> Groups -> Default -> Edit -> New group discount and there i can choose separate group and set discount in %.

 

When i`m doing this, some of products from my category are lowered and some of them are not !

 

So in my case this method works kind of random.

And i can`t figure out why.

 

If someone can help me, please..

Check if your products, that doesn't have discount, default category is the one you are setting discount for.

Thank you so much for your answere.

I have same products in different categories,

So for to apply this type discount,

I should make it for FIRST category (for category, where this product was created first time).

If you have product in two categories, for example Hats and Shoes and you apply category discount for Shoes, then your product "Default category" should be Shoes.

You set default category in Product > Associations.
