SGRANT Posted March 16, 2015 Share Posted March 16, 2015 Hello, I have the very latest version of PS as I installed it on my new site 3 days ago. I have bootstrap template. My website is https://www.scrapbookuniverse.net/store/index.php Remove Image from categories. I don't want images attached to my categories. I've looked everywhere for a couple of days now, and I can't find where the setting is. I must be overlooking it. Will you please help. Thank you. Also, I did a search in the forum and couldn't find anything. Please see attached. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SirPresta Posted March 17, 2015 Share Posted March 17, 2015 Open file: themes/{YOUR_TEMPLATE_NAME}/category.tpl And remove everything from: <div class="subcategory-image"> to first </div> if nothing changes go to the Performace tab in admin panel, and change Smarty option for 'force compilation'. SGRANT Posted March 17, 2015 Author Share Posted March 17, 2015 Hello, I have the bootstrap theme which came with Prestashop. I didn't see anything labeled bootstrap.tpl. So what is the standard file name for that template? Please don't say bootstrap, because it isn't there. I really appreciate your help. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SirPresta Posted March 17, 2015 Share Posted March 17, 2015 Not bootstrap.tpl . go to the path: themes/default-bootstrap/ Do you have file category.tpl there? If yes remove everything between <div class="subcategory-image"> and </div> Best regards Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SGRANT Posted March 17, 2015 Author Share Posted March 17, 2015 Hi, I tried what you said and removed: <a href="{$link->getCategoryLink($subcategory.id_category, $subcategory.link_rewrite)|escape:'html':'UTF-8'}" title="{$subcategory.name|escape:'html':'UTF-8'}" class="img"> {if $subcategory.id_image} <img class="replace-2x" src="{$link->getCatImageLink($subcategory.link_rewrite, $subcategory.id_image, 'medium_default')|escape:'html':'UTF-8'}" alt="" width="{$mediumSize.width}" height="{$mediumSize.height}" /> {else} <img class="replace-2x" src="{$img_cat_dir}{$lang_iso}-default-medium_default.jpg" alt="" width="{$mediumSize.width}" height="{$mediumSize.height}" /> {/if} </a> Please see my website for the LIVE RESULTS https://www.scrapbookuniverse.net/store/index.php?id_category=69&controller=category&id_lang=1 .
