Saparo
Hi, thank you in advance for the time you're about to commit. I'm using presta 1.6. and i'm pretty new at it. I'm trying to create a CSV file for my T-shirt store. Here is were I'm confused. 1). I can't figure out how to load a CSV file so I can display an Item with multiple color and size combinations. I also have a thumbnail representing each color and a color square image to load that thumbnail when clicked. Can anyone share a sample file depicting what I just explained? 2). How does the product CSV link the combination CSV? I was thinking the reference number or unique ID 3). Which of the two file is loaded first? 4). Should all the images be uploaded by ftp. before the CSV files? If I'm using Presta Cloud, how and where are these images uploaded to? Thank you. I hope I'm not asking too much of you. Chriss_44
Hello Saparo, I haven´t upload products from a CSV with combinations, just normal products without combinations. Do you upload CSV via admin panel or Store Manager? Maybe i can´t solve your problem but here you have some related posts: https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/275497-complete-csv-example-to-import-product-combinations-in-ps-15/ https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/318369-prestashop-16-csv-attribute-import/ https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/428027-product-upload-with-combinations-workflow-using-csvxls/ About the images, the images need to be in a server, I use a folder inside my hosting for my shop. I create a folder with all the images and just add the URL of each one. but yes they need to be uploaded first. Cheers
Saparo
Chriss_44, thanks for your response. I do not have store manager and planned on uploading via the admin. My shirt vendor supplies a csv file with price and product information, plus a color square image representing each color. I would like to have all that uploaded via csv because my catalog is so large. I have recently used the download version of PS and am familiar with the image location. The cloud version, which I'm currently working with does not show me where to store images. I think if I can answer that question, I will be able to play with the csv file to see what works. I will review the post u suggested. If u or anyone have anymore pointers, i'd appreciate it. Thanks again
Jill Admin
I am also trying to do the same thing. I'd like to upload CSV with products and their combinations of sizes/colors. I havent been able to do it yet, but when you choose "combinations" in the CSV import tool the first field listed on the right is "Product ID" so I assume this points to the thing called "ID" when you are uploading products. Good luck.
