Tax changes to not included on its own

Hi,

 

Im sure this is an easy one but its giving me a headache at the moment.

 

I change all my settings to show tax in the Customers/Groups menu and I change and save each one in the Visitor,Guest and Customer options. However, after a while it just changes back to "Tax Excluded" on its own.

 

Im suspecting it may be after an auto backup as this is the only thing that changes in the time.

 

If it is the autoback causing the problem, how to I turn it off?

Solved it myself.

 

Turns out that you can update Prestashop a couple of ways. One via a module from the Admin panel in presta and for me another way is through my Cpanel (web hosting control panel). I installed prestashop via the cpanel and it seems by default it is set to update prestashop automatically when an update is due.

 

The problem is, when a full update is implemented some core changes/settings take place in prestashop and can be shifted back to default settings. This has happened to me several times before I figured it out.
