Valsirob Posted March 7, 2015 Share Posted March 7, 2015 Hello, I have the following problem: When a customer is entering his VAT number as a company, Prestashop generate a message that the VAT number is not correct. I have not checked under the VAT module the VAT number to be checked. Further, if I enter in the customer details via the back office and enter myself the VAT number, still rejected...looks like I cannot accept VATnumbers on the field named VAT number (SIRET). Am I translating/using the wrong field for the VAT number? I just open a B2B folder and started a campaign...but looks not nice, since the potential Companies cannot register on our site with VATnumber or they have to use one of the Name filed to add the VAT number...which is not very nice. Is it possible that the problem is linked to the module, to know that if I uninstall it the use of the field for the VAT will work (no check will be done). doekia Posted March 9, 2015 Share Posted March 9, 2015 I tested the version 1.7.2 of the module with all sorts of parameters ... It work like a charm. Inspect the ajax call with some browser web tools to see if there is not "bugus" message returned from the call ... potentially, some BOM characters, error messages, ...
