Custom CMS Block Help

Recommended Posts

Hey does anyone know if it's possible to add a widget to the custom cms block? I've tried adding different things and replacing code but nothing has worked so far. I've included a screenshot showing what's going on. If you look at the block to the right it has code when it's suppose to be an actual instagram block. My website is www.sneakergeekers.com

You need a few changes

You need allow iframe in preferences

You need put the before and after script {litetal}{/literal}

Hey I entered in the {literal} {/literal} and it didn't work. I also enabled iframe, did I miss something? Were you really saying I'm suppose to put literal or was it something else that went in there? Thanks for the reply and help.

Hello

jgamio means putting your code between literal tags, for instance:

{literal}

<!-- SnapWidget -->
<iframe src="http://snapwidget.com/in/?u=cGF1bHxpbnwxMjV8M3wzfHxub3w1fG5vbmV8b25TdGFydHx5ZXN8bm8=&ve=080315" title="Instagram Widget" class="snapwidget-widget" allowTransparency="true" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" style="border:none; overflow:hidden; width:390px; height:390px"></iframe>

{/literal}

Hey thanks for clarifying that for me. I tried doing it again using:

{literal}

<!-- SnapWidget -->
<iframesrc="http://snapwidget.com/in/?h=c25lYWtlcnN8aW58MTI1fDJ8NHx8bm98NXxub25lfG9uU3RhcnR8eWVzfHllcw==&ve=050315"title="Instagram Widget"class="snapwidget-widget"allowTransparency="true"frameborder="0"scrolling="no"style="border:none; overflow:hidden; width:100%;"></iframe>

{/literal}

And it still didn't work. I'm still getting the text, I've enabled iframes and still no luck. If I gave you my info could you check it out for me?

Did you check this on html page first ?

What exactly do you mean did I check on html? Do you mean did I check it out on another html page? If so, yes I did and it did work. this is the exact code:

<!-- SnapWidget -->

<iframe src="http://snapwidget.com/in/?h=YW1hemluZ3xpbnwxMDB8MnwzfHxub3w1fG5vbmV8b25TdGFydHx5ZXN8bm8=&ve=090315" title="Instagram Widget" class="snapwidget-widget" allowTransparency="true" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" style="border:none; overflow:hidden; width:210px; height:315px"></iframe>

ok

where did you write the code ? in the textbox

or

did you select the  </> option to write html

I went to custom cms, then hit edit, I tried hitting source code and entering it in with the source code and I tried entering it directly into the cms field, but neither have worked. If I gave you my info could you check it out for me?
