n_s_simpson
Hi We sell printers/copiers and I'm using the multi-variations feature to allow customers to select their chosen cable (USB, network, etc) and a pack of paper. You can see what I mean here: https://devilprinters.co.uk/home/343-brother-hl-5450dn-a4-mono-laser-4977766706476.html We're trying to use the eBay module created by 202 Ecommerce but we're struggling because it's so buggy. We're currently just trying to work around them while we wait for our forge bug post to be responded to. Anyway, the eBay module manages to upload the multi-variations perfectly to eBay if the chosen category allows for it. Unfortunately the current category's final seller fee is too high so I need the products to go into eBay's printer category but that one doesn't allow for variations. The eBay module will therefore upload every product variation for each product separately to eBay. Depending on the product that could be dozens of listings for just one product so it'll be an expensive nightmare. I was thinking that perhaps I should duplicate each printer/copier on my website without product variations, hide them and put them all into a hidden category so I can use them to upload to eBay. Bit more work so wondered if anyone can suggest a better alternative that doesn't involve asking the developer to alter their program because I'm not having much joy with them. n_s_simpson
For now I'll put all the hardware in a different category and leave the consumables (toners, inks, etc) in the home category so I can at least upload those to eBay. I just want to find a way of uploading the hardware to eBay without the product variations since eBay doesn't allow them in the category I'm using. Does anyone have any suggestions? n_s_simpson
Found a solution, which was to completely uninstall it. I'm going to wait and invest in Store Manager and use their eBay module (subject to trialling that part first).
