[solved] Help. 500 error (front office only)

There was a php.ini error is all they told me. I'm no expert but maybe try back up/download your existing htaccess, delete it from server and it will be re-generated, see if the newly generated one gets things back. Hope you manage to fix soon.. BackupBackupBackup

I was able to resolve this issue by seeing the actual error:

going to config / set define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', false); to true to see actual error details

I saw it was a theme error, my theme wasn't selected.

So I went to themes and simply selected my theme.  It was all changed but I was able to rearrange the blocks around to make it look how it was.

I hope this helps someone else.
