Multi store non www redirect to wrong page and more problems..

Hey all,

 

I registered a new domain lately and I thought I had it working untill I found out that www.domain.com works but domain.com redirect to the main store wich is a totally different domain name.

 

According to this post https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/336630-redirect-non-www-url-to-www-for-multistore-in-16/?do=findComment&comment=1801953

I had to edit the HTACCES wich I did, but unfortunatly it does not work for me.

 

So what am i doing wrong here?

 

I have made a pointer in directadmin with alias ticked on.

 

The domain we are talking about is EDIT

with www, it works but without it goes to my main shop.

 

 

Now my second question.

I have set the second store with the same default template. If i change a tpl file in a module, will both stores be affected? What if i want to have different values for some stuff. How exactly do I know what files are for shop 1 and what for shop2 when i look in filezilla?

Ok so clearing cache did the trick..

 

Now another question.. if  htacces auto generates the file, the RewriteEngine settings change from:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [R=301,L]

 

to

 

RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.my-icover.nl$
RewriteRule . - [E=REWRITEBASE:/]
RewriteRule ^api/?(.*)$ %{ENV:REWRITEBASE}webservice/dispatcher.php?url=$1 [QSA,L]

 

Why is this happening and how can i stop this?
