Site and backend goes to blank page.

I have not made any changes to the site. I did backup the database via PrestaShop and files via ftp. However, when downloading my files, in my ftp quere it kept trying to copy db.php and then start over and continued doing this as if the file was not there. I did check and the file was there. Shortly after when trying to log into the backend is when I noticed the problem. Any suggestions?

Fixed. But now idea how this happened. I went to the db.php that I just backed up via ftp to view it and it was blank. I went back to the backup prior and it was blank too. However, the back up prior to that one was fine. I uploaded it and everything is back to normal. Could this be a ftp problem? I use Filezilla. Any suggestions?
