skinnybloke
Hi - I recently upgraded my site from v1.6.0.9 to v1.6.0.11 and also converted it from a single site to a multistore. For the first time in months I have tried to Add an Employee. When I click on 'save', the page refreshes but displays the same page, as opposed to returning to the list of employees The employee is not created and no error message is displayed. I looked in the Employee tables in the database and nothing has been added there either. Any ideas?. skinnybloke
I have raised a bug report for this http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCSX-4696
skinnybloke
Problem was due to me trying to use numeric characters in an employees first name and Prestashop not returning an error. I don't think it's documented but you can only use Alpha characters in First Name. The bug was that Prestashop did not return an error - this is fixed in PSCSX-2878
Autrefois
HI, I've got a problem with my recent upgrade to V1.6.09 done by an external company who originally set me up with Prestashop V1.2. I've explained that I cannot add an employee. When I click on "Employees" the message comes back "Access denied". The partner just won't reply and seems to be ignoring my question. Does this mean that I'm not the "Superadmin" user? Thanks for any feedback.
skinnybloke
Hi Autrefois - It might be worth opening a new thread for this problem as it might get lost under the original title. Have you been able to create employees in the past? Since the upgrade? You do not need to be a 'Superadmin' profile to add employees, but if you are a different profile you need to have the permissions set in the permissions tab to be able to do this. Malemi
Bug confirmed on PrestaShop version 1.6.0.11, just willing to create "Employee1" and could not. Had to switch to "Employee". Thank you
