fcgi and uploading multiple images fail

Recommended Posts

Whenever I try to upload multiple images to a product it fails with only one or two images uploaded. It reports: "Image format not recognized, allowed formats are: .gif, .jpg, .png"

I switched back to suphp and all images upload fine.

I know default FcgidMaxRequestLen is only 128k so i have it modified to "FcgidMaxRequestLen 1073741824"

All the php execution time, post size, upload size all that are set high enough. it works with suphp so those php.ini values are correct.

Any ideas what's wrong with fcgi?

<IfModule mod_fcgid.c>
  MaxRequestLen       15728640
  FcgidMaxRequestLen  15728640
</IfModule>

This gives you 15M upload and should be sufficient (double syntax because some server use the legacy syntax some don't)

fcgid relies on cli php.ini, please check those:

upload_max_filesize = 5M
post_max_size = 10M
