How to Add Free Shipping Ribbon

Hi All

 

I am using Prestashop 1.6.0.9 with Default Bootstrap theme. I would like to have a Free Shipping Ribbon based on the Weight Attribute of the Product.

 

So if a Product weight is "0" then it should Display a "Free Shipping" Ribbon on the Product Picture. This should appear in product listing everywhere like Featured, Best Seller etc

 

any ideas about how i can do this, Thanks in Advance.

Hi Ram,

 

The only simple method I've used is to change the 'Sale' ribbon to a 'Free Delivery' ribbon.

 

Obviously this now means I can no longer use this ribbon as an on-sale notification.

 

This isn't really an issue though, as when I create a new specific price for the product it's pretty clear it's on sale, as the original price is shown with a strike through, along with the new sale/discounted price, as well as appearing in the prices drop page!

 

I simply edited the themes/default-bootstrap/css/global.css file and changed line 6121 to 9px so the words would fit into the space on the ribbon, then changed line 70 of my product.tpl file from the word 'sale!' to Free Delivery' and did the same on line 104 of my product-list.tpl file ( if you can't find these lines just search for 'sale-label' in your code editor )

 

So now, for any item I want to mark as Free Delivery, I just check the box 'display the on sale icon' in the product pricing screen.

 

Hope this helps you and others, it may not be a perfect solution but it works for me
