Brekel
It seems all the CMS links in my site's footer that used to work are now broken Most probably after a recent update of either PrestaShop (v1.6.0.11) or the CMS block module (v2.01) Note that can edit them in the backoffice using Preferences>CMS and they do appear in the frontoffice but clicking them shows an empty page. Note that I haven't switched themes. Here's my site http://brekel.com/shop Please help!
Brekel
Note that if I enable the default options like "Contact Us", "Our Stores" etc that they DO work. It's just the custom CMS pages that don't work. Copying back an older blockcms module also didn't seem to change things. Please help
Brekel
Looks like they work again when I turn "Disable all overrides" On under Advanced Parameters > Performance > Debug mode. Any idea on what could be causing this? Could it be the theme, or any of the modules? If so what should I look for exactly for solving this properly? helldog2004
If you disabled all overrides and this solved your problem, then most likely an installed third party module is causing the problem. You can easily test this out by changing a modules folder name one by one in your FTP. For example change your cart-block inside your modules folder to something like cart-block_ This way you disable your module, refresh your page to see if you see changes. If you can not see any changes in your footer, then rename the folder back to it's original name and take the following folder. Continue this until you have finished every module or if you found the culprit. Cheers.
Brekel
Thanks for your tip! I've tried renaming each module folder one by one, refresh the page, try the CMS link etc. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be related to any of the modules. Any other places I could search? Maybe any particular strings I could look for in the theme or other specific files for example?
Paulito
Hello I assume you have solved the problem as all the links work for me http://screencast.com/t/VqKMbG43S Paul
Brekel
Well the only way to solve it now is to keep "Disable all overrides" enabled. Haven't found the reason why it happens yet, so any tips or ideas are welcome.
