prestashopforum
When customers try to purchase items, they enter their name and address details to either make an account or to instantly check out. However the website seems to think the detailed have not been entered so when the button 'proceed to checkout' is clicked, the form validator kicks in and says 'the following information is required...' The website used to work, and when it did the font colour was black and after each section was filled in, a green tick would appear at the end to confirm the website knew the details were correct. The text now appears grey and neither a tick or a cross appears after filling in each section. A new column has also appeared labelled 'Identification number'. The website seemed to stop working shortly after the theme was updated however the owner failed to back up the site before running the update. I have tried installing the default theme however that didn't solve the problem. The current version of the site is: 1.6.0.11 I thought it could be something to do with the form validator misbehaving, so I downloaded the latest version of prestashop and uploaded the following files to the server over writing the existing hoping for a quick fix: AddressController.php, AddressesController.php and AuthController.php If anyone has any suggestions I would be grateful to hear them. Thank you Edited February 4, 2015 by prestashopforum (see edit history)
