Skysomething
I would reaaaaaly appreciate help with this one. Let say I have imported products with CSV file and those products have description (imported with CSV or manually entered, it is no matter). Then after uploading new CSV file with "Description" column empty, it ereses all the descriptions I allready have in Prestashop. I made some testing but didn't find solution. Is it possible to import CSV file with empty columns (for example: Description, Short description, Meta description...) so they don't delete existing data in those fields in Prestashop? Please help, this one is big for us. Thank you.
RogueWaveLimited
The short answer is no. However you can import a CSV _WITHOUT_ the description, short description fields and those fields (and any fields not in the CSV) will not be affected by the import. As always, test this by importing ONE product. Edited January 30, 2015 by RogueWaveLimited (see edit history)
Skysomething
But there must be ALL fields included in CSV if we want CSV to wotk without error. Don't they?
RogueWaveLimited
No, I don't think so. You should try it. I may be mistaken. Richard
Skysomething
I just did on category CSV and it seems it works. But need further testing. Thank you for the tip. Any other idea is welcome.
