Alex Nitu
Hi guys, I just tried to upload the 10.000+ products we have for our website to see how the platform/server copes with that amount and I just got this error message: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 7680 bytes) in /www/ftp.... /modules/gamification/classes/GamificationTools.php(42) : runtime-created function on line 1. Before I tell you about my steps, I just want to make clear the fact that I already used some CSV files to upload around 1000 products, and everything went well. Also, after this error I noticed that about 900 products were uploaded. I saved the CSV from our ERP, delimitation by comma, then uploaded the file intro Prestashop. It is a ISO 8859-1 encoded file and I used the force all ID numbers option. I didn't use any images or other content rather than basic information like ID, price, quantity, refference, supplier, etc, etc. It was a total of 10-15 columns to be filled. Any ideas, please? Alex Nitu
I figured out I have to modify the .htaccess file to allow higher memory. Hope it helps others if they encounter this problem. I'll post an update if I figure out what are the correct lines to modify and how to do it.
