Combinations problem

Hello everyone,

 

I'm using prestashop as catalog and want to let ppl find a reference for a particular item.

I have several screws in different sizes (metrics called M) / lenghts etc.

 

Example for screw ABC :

 

Base reference is : screw_abc

 

And then :

 

M2 screws have lenghts from 4 to 25 mm but not above

Reference for M2 size and 4 mm lenght is screw_abc_m2_4mm

 

M4 screws have lenghts from 6 to 40 mm but not above

Reference for M4 size and 6 mm lenght is screw_abc_m6_6mm

 

and so on.

 

I created all the attributes for my screws, and they are displayed just fine in a drop down menu on product page.

The problem is, if I select 40 mm lenght, I still can select M2.

How can I prevent some attributes to be selected depending on another ?

 

ie. If I select 40 mm for lenght attribute, hide all Metrics (M) under M4 option ?
