PPTWizard
Hi all - Hoping you can help me. Here's what I'd like to do: Upload virtual products (some payable, some free downloads). Limit virtual products to single order (ie only allow customers to add 1 to their basket). After customers go through the sign-up process, and complete checkout, be able to download only 1 copy of the digital file. Here's what I've done to try to make this happen: Set up virtual products in relevant categories, some payable, some free downloads). Associated files with these. Limited downloads to 1 in 'Number of downloads' field in 'Virtual Product' tab. Here's what actually happens when I've tested out the system: I've been able to add as many copies of the virtual products as I like to my shopping basket. After going through the sign-up process, no limit was imposed by Prestashop. After having completed checkout, the order shows it's gone through correctly, for the amount I've ordered (the single file limit was not applied) and I have no idea how to download the file. What am I doing wrong? Would appreciate your help on this. Thanks
El Patron
I've been able to add as many copies of the virtual products as I like to my shopping basket. i am not aware of a way to stop this in native without custom. I would not worry as customer is not going to buy multiple products. After going through the sign-up process, no limit was imposed by Prestashop. After having completed checkout, the order shows it's gone through correctly, for the amount I've ordered (the single file limit was not applied) and I have no idea how to download the file. Did you install/configure 'mail alerts' module?
PPTWizard
Hi there - Thanks for the reply - I managed to get the order notification sorted out - out of interest, I couldn't find 'mail alerts' module either in my installation or on the PrestaShop website. Where is it? Is there a way to set up preferences in Prest for an email to be sent when a notification alert has been activated? At the moment, I have to log into the admin page to see these - I'd like to be able to be notified by email when these appear. Is this possible? If so, how? Thanks very much

Andy1234
If a customer buys a digital product and a product to be shipped the digital product is not being sent. Neither immediately or when marked as shipped. Has anyone else encountered this? Is there a way around it? Thanks Andy

I've always posted on old topics because for the life of me I can't fathom how to start a new one. Thanks Andy
