Importing products with images..

Hello,

Today I started to create an customized import module for PS.
I managed to programatically create new products (using Product class), attaching it to selected category.

But I couldn't find out, how to programmatically add images to this products.

My module has to download images from my partner's site. Then resize it (or maybe PS will do it for my automagically?), then locate it somewhere and somehow in /img/ directory, renaming it to PS compatible name
and finally attach to newly created product.

Can someone give me some advice how to do it?
