translation of modules

I cannot translate modules via the backoffice. My host has set the following:

 

memory_limit = 64M

max_input_time = 9999

max_execution_time = 300

 

But when I try I still get the message that input_vars has te be set to 3275 at least.

What should we do?

ask you hosting company to increase php.ini value for max_input_vars

php_value max_input_vars 3000

at start of .httaccess file
