Theme malfunction on Live store

Hello. 

PrestaShop version: 1.6.0.6

I recently managed to get myself into trouble while I was trying to make the page blocks´ background transparent.  

I am now unable to return to the configuration I had before.  I am a photographer with little development experience. 

PLEASE HELP. 

The page is now under maintenance, please ask for IP access, and/or back store access. 

 

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION.

The product images are too big for their frame.  And my theme configuration was lost. only a portion of it remained.

 

how did I make this happen:

I made a copy of the theme I was using.  Then I edited the copy, installed it, and that is it.  I tried going back to the theme I was on, but what it shows now is only default modules and positions, (NOT WHAT I HAD CONFIGURED).  

NOTE: I managed to get the store working properly over a year ago, and have lost track on the many websites hosting tutorials on how to do it.  If someone could point me to a great (advanced or medium difficulty) tutorial on how to modify files to get my products looking nicely back again I would much appreciate it.
