pmws
Hello all, I have renamed the folder where I installed my Prestashop, then I changed the define for _PS_DIRECTORY_ in /config/settings.inc.php as suggested in the documentation to point to the renamed folder. All seemed to be OK until I tried to view the shop by clicking on the 'my shop' button from the admin page - this was still pointing to the original prestashop directory name before it was renamed. I have searched for other references to the original name in the public_html folder but found no matches. Can anyone point me to where else I need to change the reference to the original folder name? I am using version 1.6.0.5 on external hosting Many thanks

pmws
Thanks for the quick response. I couldn't change the url under seo & urls as I had set it up as a Multistore. So, I went to Advanced Preferences / Multistore and tried to click on the domain which was showing the old folder. This resulted in a 404 error. I clicked on another domain name which was NOT pointing at the old folder, and this displayed all stores on the right of the screen. I clicked on edit against the domain where the original name was shown. This allowed me to enter the new folder name. Then when I tried to save it, I got another 404 error - it was still trying to access the original folder name! I then selected another domain with a shop, and disabled the main url. This time I was allowed to save it with the url pointing to the new folder name. However the left panel correctly showed 3 domains, but there were now 2 urls under the 3rd domain, not the domain I was trying to change. On the right hand side I have 3 shops displayed. Only the 2nd shop has a url shown - it is correctly pointing to the renamed shop folder. Clicking on the Multistore group name shows the correct default shop, so for now I think I have resolved my problem, although the screen output is puzzling. One downside though is the the 'my shop' button has now disappeared from the admin screen! Is this normal? Thanks again
