Add Files button for csv import does not work

Recommended Posts

Hi All

I am working on a prestashop 1.6.0.6 release running on wamp, and having a problem with the csv import. The screen loads fine but clicking on Add File button does nothing. I attempted to drop my csv file into the admin/import folder and when I refresh the page I can see a count of '1' on the 'Choose from history/FTP' button. However clicking either of these buttons does nothing. I can't see any onclick event attached to the buttons either.

Has anyone else hit this issue? Is there an alternative way I can upload my products (I have about 50 initially) until I can figure out the issue with the buttons?

thanks

I would like to add I have tried this in both chrome and internet explorer 11 and it does not work in either browser.

I am seeing  jquery error in the browser console:

SCRIPT438: Object doesn't support property or method 'extend'

File: jquery.ui.widget.min.js, Line: 4, Column: 2490

I assume this might be impacting the button action?

thanks

I'm having the same issue.  I was able to import the product test file provided on the import screen and it added an ipod, nike shoes or a few other products.  I then added only 5 of my own products to the provided test .csv file, deleting their test products from the rows in Libre Calc.  I also changed the ID for each product to unique numbers.  The upload went as before but then when I went to products to check, only 1 out of the 5 imported.  I then tried to re-upload the file and both buttons are NON responsive, either Upload or Load from History.  I tried new .csv files too.  Hope this adds to the collective info so it'll get fixed ASAP.

I had the same issue and I've just solved it.

It started when I uploaded a file containing not supported characters such as "è" in the "Name" field (an error message was shown).

I just deleted the latest files that I had imported (they were in the "Import" directory) and now the button works again.
