How to disable number of products or correct grammar in Polish

Hello,

At the top of the list of products in a given category, there is a small stripe with the number of products in this category, e.g. in English "There are X products".

 

My problem is that in Polish language the strange grammar of this sentence is incorrect, so I have 2 solutions:

 

1. Simple: to disable the displaying of this information completely, but I can't find where it can be done.

 

2. More ambitious: to correct the grammar, which can be difficult as in Polish three forms are needed and not two like in other languages:

 

a. Jest 1 produkt  (in case of 1)
b. Są X produkty  (in case X = 2,3,4,22,23,24,32,33,34… and all other with 2,3 or 4 at the end with the exception of 12,13,14 and all other numbers with 12,13,14 at the end).
c. Jest X produktów (in all other plural cases)

 

I'd appreciate any help where can I make at least a simple solution (disable displaying this info at all) or a more sophisticated one (to correct grammar in case of different plural numbers).

Sorry, I do not know the Polish language but why not try something like:

 

"Products in this category"

or some other generic term

Following your first suggestion I've just changed the sentence to :"Number of products: X" in Polish, where there is no grammatical problem with different numbers.

 

 

And I've finally found myself where to do it:

 

in /themes/my_theme/lang/pl.php.
