Slider and Translations

Hello there.

i got a problem with the slider. I did deactivate the template demo model things to use the slide rin the whole sice. Its like 1175px width and i used to put this as a width in the slider addon. It just get downscaled to the old width. 

 

My other question is about hte weird english and german. In the translation tab some thigns like "Contact Us" are translated to german or even things like the german gender in the english registration are translated so i cant change them. 

 

Quite annoying. 

 

Edit: Even the delay time between switching a layer isnt working properly.
