Disable Cash On Delivery (COD) for digital downloads

Hello to everyone.

 

I use the Cash on delivery with fee (COD) v0.9 in my eshop (Prestashop 1.4.11.0).

 

Beside the psycical products (books) I want to sell ebooks as digital downloads as well.

 

For the physical products I use the Cash on delivery with fee (COD) module (i also use PayPal and Bank transfer modules).

 

Is there any way to prevent Cash on delivery with fee (COD) from appearing as a payment method in the checkout process for the digital downloads;

 

The digital downloads are in their own category (digital books) seperatefrom the physical products.

 

I believe it is logicall to only allow payment by card & bank transfer for digital downloads.

I'd like to see an answer for the problem petros asked. Or a solution.

I have the same issue. (Prestashop 1.6.0.11) I cannod activate COD because, when a client order digital and phisical products in the same basket, none of the payment methods appear.

 

I'd like, for example, let the client to decide if it pays on delivery all the products ordered (physical AND virtual) or by credit card. And, if is choose the first option, to inform him that he will pay in this way.

 

Is there a clue? Someone?
