Compare products function problem 1.5.5?

Hi,

 

I found old topics about issues with "compare products"- function (topics conserned releases before 1.5).

 

I run with 1.5.5 and noticed problem still occurs. 

 

Let's say you choose 3 products from category A to be compared and then you move to category B and try to choose new products to compare, you'll get an error message "it's not possible to choose over three items to compare". To solve this you must first go back and disable / untick previous compared items. 

 

Is there a solution available for 1.5.5 which would reset previous compared items before doing a new one?

While i have been testing this for a while now- this isn't no so bad function after all.

 

You can change one or two items to compare "in-a-fly" without choosing all items again. Let's see what customers think and do changes accordingly if necessary.
