Question about delete carts that had already been transferred to order?

Hi,

 

I noticed I cannot delete carts that had been converted to orders from backend? Only can manually delete carts that have not been converted?

 

Please anyone has experience on how to delete them? And also I can delete them from mysql admin ps_cart, but will that cause any issues?

there are various methods, how about this simple soultion.

 

edit the order-->new status = canceled.

Some other ways? You see if I edit the order status there maybe issues with clients. I am also wondering if I delete them from mysql admin ps_cart, but will that cause any issues?

if native prestashop does not allow  delete...I would not delete them...

 

there are loads of horror stories on here about what happens to shops after they try a delete orders...

 

that being said..moderator nemo1 has a module to do this...give it a search

It will make the database very big and slow down the site since most of our customers are buying wholesale there, so there cart is always with multiple items.

 

Hope someone could offer a solution for the case.
