Cannot import categories with csv

Hi all,

 

I have been struggling for almost four days for making simple and plain import of categories. For the moment I am just trying to import a root category and I receive a success import message but I cannot see the imported category, I also checked database and I cannot see the imported record.

 

My data:

I am using a vanilla 1.5.6.2 Prestashop local installation

The message I am receive when I import the category: import success.JPG

The file I am trying to import: QRY_Export_to_CSV.txt (I renamed to txt bc I could not upload it)

Records on the category table: Category_table.JPG

 

What I have tried so far:

Import with and without “Force all ID's during import?”

Import with “Delete all categories before import?”

Import category with or without root category

Import with the following values for parent category: (no value) , 0 , 1 , Home

Import after a clean installation of Prestashop for all above

 

I am really without ideas; this should be really straight forward  but I am missing something.

 

Any help will be most welcome.
