Advice on Stock Management

Hi there

 

Can anyone advise?

 

1. URL of our shop is www.kittags.co.uk

2. You will see that we have a base product, which can then be personalised.

3. At the moment I am entering random (say 10) stock quantities against seperate 'Combinations', so it is sightly false in keeping track of stock

4. So, my question is, can someone advise how I set up Warehouse Management (if it can be done) so that I can enter the number of base products, for instance Tan KitTag, so that if someone orders a personalised product it comes from that stock.

EP, thanks for that. I've activated AWM but the question I have is how I link the base product, i.e. the products that aren't personalised, to the combinations that are. This is important as the combinations come out of the unpersonalised stock, if you see what I mean. So I want to be able to put in the stock amount ONCE, and when someone orders a personalised product, it will affect the unpersonalised stock amount relatively.

Hi, raising this issue again. To clarify the question.

 

1. I have a product which is normally plain - this is on sale as CLEAR

2. Most of the time the product is personallised in a variety of forms - the buyer selects from a drop-down list of COMBINATIONS

 

I want to enter the number of CLEAR items I have in  stock and each time that a personalised one is ordered, the stock is removed from the CLEAR items, even though the item ordered is from one of the COMBINATIONS

 

Can anyone advise on how to achieve this?
