Products missing in backoffice

Hello everyone,

 

I recently installed a fresh version of 1.4.4, because I was having performance problems and simply played way too much with the code.  

 

I installed prestashop from scratch, and imported the database in phpmyadmin.  Everything worked fine, except for one thing.  There are products that are visible in the store, but I can't see any record of them in the back office.  I'm really not that interested in recovering them, I just want to delete them.  

 

How can I delete them from the database?

 

I'm sure this can be a very basic question, but I would really appreciate some help, my clients are seeing products that I no longer offer.

PS:  I just saw a post where they had a similar problem, and it was because there was a filter on the product list set by mistake.  This is not my case.
