exclude cross selling module from cart overview

I understand that the Cross Selling module includes the "customers who bought this also bought..." style recommendations, but it apparently cannot be transplanted OFF the shopping cart footer hook.

Is there a way make this module appear exclusively in product details and not in the shopping cart (1st step of our check out) also?

 

 

I know that I can ad exclusions in the module's position options. However, when I add 'cart, order.xxx etc.' it is not respected, does not work as I thought it should.

 

 

So, what have i to do?

Must I edit a tpl`? (ehm, which one?)
