Can somebody please help..! i cant change shipping price?

Hello Everyone..i building a jewelry website...ive got to the point of where im about to start adding products etc etc.

 

I did an example product - just to figure out how to add product. ive managed product discription, uploaded the photo etc etc.

 

but when i add the product to the shopping cart, there seems to be a default shipping charge of $8.

 

Ive looked at the products page & i can see "extra handling charge" if i add $2 to the box..then it shows $10 in checkout cart...but i cant seem to find where the other $8 is been added from.

 

I ve looked in shipping tab..all boxes are empty, im not charging tax on any products (i will later on)

so i cant figure out where the $8 is coming from???

 

Anyone have any ideas?
