Multi store multi language

Hello :)

I'am trying to set up a multi-lingual shop on Prestashop 1.5.4.1

The idea is to have my shop 1 in French and my shop 2 in German.

When I turn on the French and German for both shops via location menu -> language, it works correctly, I have two languages with the selector on each store.

However, I want only the shop 1 in french and the shop 2 in german. In each language, I gave them a particular shop but it's doesn't run. I had french on shop 1 and french on shop 2 where I need to have only german..

Any idea? A solution?

Thank you in advance

note: if you ccTLD url's, i.e. .de .fr

you should leave the languages active in both shops, this is for seo purposes...

if you have one gTLD, i.e. .com and another .fr or .de then you this will also work.

it would not however be good idea (duplicate content) if both gTLD (.com/.net/.org/.etc)

Hi dear,

When I follow the instruction, I get a problem is that it automatically change the mydomain.com in mydomain.com/es and the other domain mydomain.fr in mydomain.fr/fr.

How can I avoid that prestashop add the prefix /es and /fr on the domain?

Thanks a lot for your answer
