How to create half width Slidershow and sildeshow , full width block?

hi everyone

i am a new user of prestashop 1.5.4.1.

it is the best system i had use.

i already check the post of "full width footer create"

but i have some problem of UI.

 

1) in the default template, how can i change the block width with %

when i delete all right and left column. the middle column still been the same width

 

2) how can i let the video and sildeshow in same level. just like the attached file.

 

3) the live edit is not working. how to fix it?
