Crocodile
Hi Everyone I decided to mess with my Home Tex Editor and updated the wording to what I want. However in getting there I think I have zigged instead of zagged and deleted something so that I no longer have this text and my banner visible. I believe I accidentally deleted something in 'Positions' when I thought I was editing. (could not find the 'undo stupid mistake button' My version is 1.4.9.0 and was working great until I messed with it www.crocodilelock.com.au Can anyone point me in the right direction please? swsindonesia
Hi there mate, Which part of your site exactly that went wrong after you do the editing ? If you had the home text editor on the top of your page, or if you believe you've deleted it from "somewhere", the best place to look for it is in the Administration back-office menu Modules -> Positions (ctrl+F for "home"or "text") If you can't find it there, that means you deleted it from the right place Just re-add / re-position the module by using the Transplant / Add menu, Select your module (home text editor) and position (Top of pages). Best of luck mate! a little click on "like this" wouldn't hurt should this prove to help
Crocodile
tried a few things around your suggestions but I am afraid I have made no progress My home page no longer shows the banner and the panel showing the wording in my editor. Prestashop does need an 'undo stupid mistake button' There must be a box to tick somewhere that tell the software to display my banner and text on the home page. eric
