How customizable in Backend Admin are themes?

I'm looking at the Pretty Bride theme and was wondering how customizable it is in the Backend Admin?

 

I'd like to get rid of the black bar at the top, remove the language choice and currency entirely (since I'll only be using English and Dollars).

 

I'd then like to place the Welcome (Login) and Your Account beneath the Cart: (empty) over at the right. Is that possible?

for language and currency, just disable those modules from the back office-->modules-->(the module)-->uninstall (or disable)

you can position modules (cart/login) using the back office-->modules-->positions move them however you like...

Also, I would like on each item page to have the item title and beneath that rating stars with a link next to that linking to the customer comments regarding that specific item. Can I get those rating stars on each item page? If so, how?

 

Also, I got to thinking, do the themes and the backend admin provide a way to create RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations), along with return UPS/FedEx labels in case someone wants to return an item? Or is there a module for that?

there are modules paid/free for product ratings...simply search for them using google

Same for RMA's/return lables...

 

Make sure to back up your root files and db before installing a template...just in case it all goes south you can simply restore your site..

What if the site is new? There's really nothing to backup, right?

 

Also, down the road, what is the best way to backup?
