Various image sizes for different products

Hi

I can not change the product page image size. Whatever I do, the image is stretch and looks bad.

I did read about this but can not see a final conclusion as I did try it all !

 

Main point is...

Can I create different image mesures for different catagories ? How do I make that happen ?

I sale

*CDs / DVDs / Books/ Crafts / Vinyl.

All this images have different display sizes and I need to specify different mesurments to different products!

 

The logic would be go to *Preferences - Images and create the necessery image sizes.

Unfortunatlly I dont see a logic way to make this happen.

Is any way around this ?

It is lots of bugs with images on prestashop 1.5.4.1 !

 

My themes page is faulty big time and for what I read in the forum is not only me .

 

1 - I upload images on my themes page in BO but they don't stay. After I save and refresh the page they disappear. (I have to go from ftp and upload the images I want, under the exact same name or else dont work.

 

2 - The favicon .ico dont show on the front shop or on themes page but show in BO browser tab. (If I upload a second icon by ftp and rename for favicon.jpg then the icon show in themes page but still, not on my front store tab or address bar.

 

3 - The color (Mail color) change but after I save and refresh the page, it come back to the same default color)

 

4 - The same happen with the mobile setting. If I change "enable it on both smart phones and tablets" after I save and refresh the page come back to default "enable it only on smart phones."

 

5 - The products image size stretch the images and the settings "product image - Image generated by" Doesn't make any effect.

PLUS...

 

Your silence to this topics don't help no one to solve the issues.
