setting up Multishop and URLs

I am fiddling around with the multistore function and I'm not sure if I understood its functions.

I am trying to make a second site with a link called "itwuzz.me" that shares some attributes to the default such as theme and products.

 

when setting up the url - i know it's an active domain - and upload it, the domain does not connect. it instead gives me a default filler page. I am wondering if I missed a step or misunderstood something.

 

Do i actually have to install prestashop onto the second shop/another server and then connect the link?
