kavaXtreme
I've looked everywhere for answers, but can't find anything to point me in the right direction. (Perhaps I'm asking the wrong questions?)I'd like to modify the checkout process, and I'm wondering if that can be done at the theme level, or if it requires serious programming abilities. Here are two examples from the showcase that are similar to what I'd like to do:- http://www.aktywnysmyk.pl/authentication.php- http://www.z-enfant.com/authentication.phpIn particular, I'd like to add/remove some fields from the registration form and remove the shipping step altogether.I'd appreciate any help, or even just pointers to relevant how-to material. kavaXtreme
So far I've had to modify the template files and a php file or two to get what I want. Documentation is limited, and there doesn't seem to be any way to post to the wiki, so it can be a bit of a slow process figuring it all out. I think that whole system needs to mature a little, but overall I still like the concepts. One thing you might try is setting your individual products to be virtual goods. That really seems to be aimed at downloadable stuff though, so I'm not sure how well it would work for other implementations.
